Recognition for the Hot Latino!
*First of all, if you are new here, welcome to my endearing name for Will. He is Latino, and he is damn Hot…no more explanation is necessary.
These daily AT vlogs would not exist if it were not for Will. Period. He is the man in the chair who edits them all. I could not be thru-hiking the AT, work 20 hours a week, and edit vlogs daily. Plus, I don’t have the talent he has for editing. Will is creating the magic you now see daily on our channel. And if all that was not enough, he texts me, “You got this; you have done harder things,” when he sees a big hill on our tracking app. These vlogs are so good because of his heart and soul on the back end. No Will, no vlog. Can we all give him a virtual high-five and a big hug?
Typically, we are all together on our adventures, so it is sad to be doing this without him. I miss him in all areas of our relationship, but now was the time to do this, so we jumped, and boy, did we jump big. I am currently typing this from his rented Airbnb in front of the fireplace, and he is editing behind me at the table. We have not seen him for almost a month, so it feels great to reconnect and hug hard and long. I will keep this week’s newsletter short and sweet because I want to stop working early today to soak up Will. I am sure you all understand. Next week, I will give you a more lengthy newsletter with more profound thoughts. Thanks so much for your understanding.
Life is wild.
xoxo,
Jess
Wow, we are feeling the love!
Hello friends,
Thank you for watching this new series of daily vlogs from the Appalachian Trail. Some of the best storytelling and visually stimulating vlogs we have produced have been while hiking across the globe. As a result, we feel deeply connected to vlogging the AT trail daily.
The response we have received from all of you has been unbelievable. This community is so kind, understanding, and supportive. THANK YOU! Hiking the AT is hard, and I will not pretend otherwise in the vlogs. I am so glad you all want the real with the rainbows and joy.
If you can Subscribe (little red button on YT) to our channel while watching, it really helps YouTube push us more and push us to future community members across the globe. It is only a click on your end, but it does a lot on our end.
Thank you. Knowing we have you all with us helps us push through the hard days when I want to have a good cry, dust myself off, and proceed on. Largo never wants a good cry; he was made for this. Ha! xoxo
