Hello friends. We hit this year on a dead run, and although I feel a bit tired the last couple of days (could be some jet lag), I also feel productive and excited to tackle some big dreams this year. We are only 16 days into 2024, and it feels like a year to be remembered already.
First, I want to say a huge
THANK YOU!
This week’s newsletter is only for paid subscribers; that’s you, and I (we) cannot begin to express how much your support means to me (us). It is hard to justify writing my thoughts each week when there is paying work to be done and bills that need money. I can write because of your support, and although I am not getting rich from the newsletters, I can justify the time it takes. I am grateful as I love to write; this is the year I will write my first book. Well, I will start it as books take some time to complete. You all helped make this possible for me. You have been here listening and encouraging, pushing me to tell several of our stories in multiple books. We are well more than a YouTube channel and group trip hosts, and I hope that what we share can bring comfort and confidence to those who read it to go after their big dreams. So, it is a long way of saying you are the best, and I am so happy you are here with me.
2024, so far…
Paris. (ok, this was in the end of 2023)
Avalon arrived, Will returned from a trip to Boston, and our sailing buddies arrived on the same day, just before Christmas. We spent the next several days soaking up festive Paris, eating, drinking hot wine (well, not me, as I was still on my year without alcohol-update coming on this in a future newsletter), laughing, doing our annual talent show, and more. It truly is a gift to have friends all over the world who are adventurous and spontaneous; it makes this WorldTowning life all that much better.
