Fuck is not a bad word in our house, but hate, that is a very, very bad word. If you say you HATE something or, even worse, someone, we have a nice long chat about the magnitude of the word hate. That four-letter word has caused more damage in the world than Fuck. In many situations, hate and fuck yield a very different result, if you know what I mean (wink). Fuck spreads love; hate takes it away.
